Just A Thought

I can't tell you how many times I thought of creating a business or writing a book, or just any project at all. I've been contemplating creating a business for years and now it's just becoming a reality. I'm saying all this to say that, the same thing is possible for you. I know I'm not the only one when I say that I promise myself I'm going to do something the next day, and then I don't. The cycle literally continues and I know I can't be the only one who experiences this. My current screen time is around 10 hours and that's honestly an accomplishment because it used to be higher.

I scroll my life away on Tiktok and spend countless hours watching Netflix and being on Facetime. Now, although there is nothing wrong with these social media platforms, they are blocking you from your fullest potential. I personally didn't turn my idea of a business into reality until I was on punishment, for whatever reason, and didn't have my phone. I was put in a position where I had no other choice than to be productive. Now a week later, here I am, writing a blog post for my business page. Now although I don't have any products on my site, I have invested so much time and energy into creating this website and researching that I refuse to turn back now.

I plan on going into depth more on setting goals and achieving them, but as of right now, take away three things.

  • Don't put your goals aside over frivolous things

  • PUT AWAY THE ELECTRONICS!!! Take a day break from your phone and any and all distractions for some creative thinking

  • Think of ways you can be an asset to others or better yourself

All great things in life, history, and careers start with Just A Thought.

I am also a diy-er, retired teacher, and greeting card designer. Hand making cards is my passion. I tuck little things inside. I call my “little” business: LITTLE THINGS. But I don’t actually sell; I send my little things to those who are widows, seniors, ill, and anyone I find who can use a “LITTLE” encouragement. And who doesn’t! So proud that I saw you on FYI Philly! Carry on, my little sis! Sending love to you and your mom.
